Welcome to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office website.  Chenango County is a beautiful county with rolling hills, streams and rivers. The dedicated men and women of the Sheriff's Office work hard to maintain our special quality of life that we treasure so much. The Sheriff's Office services over 900 square miles of Chenango County. These services include police patrol, criminal investigations at all levels, K-9, snowmobile patrol, civil process, and boat patrols. We operate the County Correctional  Facility offering many inmate work details to our communities. We manage and oversee the County enhanced 911 communications center dispatching police, fire and medical services. I am also the Director of Emergency Management.  
I am honored to have served as Sheriff since 1992, I began my career as a Cadet Deputy in 1971. It has been a great career. Our full service Sheriff's Office is recognized through out the state as a modern pro-active law enforcement agency dedicated to serving and protecting our people. Our more than one hundred fifteen employees are well trained professionals striving to be the best in their chosen fields. I am proud of the important role we play in making Chenango County a safe place to live.
